We are conducting a plasma proteomics study using Olink Explore HT to identify novel blood biomarkers for the early detection of pancreatic cancer.Our ultimate goal is the clinical application of these biomarkers, and we welcome collaborations to validate them in independent cohorts.
The JaPAN is currently conducting a meta-analysis of 3 pancreatic cancer GWAS in the Japanese population. We are further pursuing replication in other cohorts from both Japan and other countries.
Functional characterization of GWAS-identified SNPs and genes is underway.
